And not the Legion? Yes, there's chuds that love the legion, but the NCR is everything they hate.

And in fact, why do so many chuds like the Enclave? Who are a literal Deep State?

Helldivers 2

1 min read

I really should consider posting more Free Federation Star Wars stuff to take advantage of the Helldivers hype.

But I've been playing way too much Fallout 4. Once again I've become super lazy as well.

Because of the catchy nature of the title, you would assume I am just one out of a million within the alt-right grift sphere within Nerd Culture. I'm happy to say that you'd be wrong, but the bad news I want to say is that there's a reason why Star Wars is infamous for its toxic, far-right adjacent fandom is due to the very reactionary nature of Star Wars itself.

It's not often a topic that gets brought up, the only source that touches on the "problematic" nature of Star Wars that I know of is the "Star Wars on Trial" series of books by science fiction writers David Brin and Matthew Woodring Stover. I'm sure there are many others who are more up-to-date on criticism of Star Wars that isn't just sequel bashing for views, perhaps on Tumblr or some obscure sci-fi forum. Again, I haven't found many. What I do find is the constant assurance from liberal, progressive, and leftist fans of Star Wars that the series is in fact, "Woke AF". So woke in fact that it makes Star Trek look like the Turner Diaries. I regret to say that, in my opinion, those fans are fighting an uphill battle and should consider just becoming Trekkies instead because Star Wars isn't it.

I also do not want to throw shade at George Lucas, or pull a Lilly Orchard and say that he's a secret Nazi this entire time. And not to throw shade at Lilly either because I do find her opinions interesting, even if she's... controversial for a huge number of reasons to say the least. George Lucas is a liberal, and he worked on Star Wars with a liberal point of view in mind. The idea of upholding democracy and tolerance in the face of totalitarianism is a liberal idea. Even if, in my opinion, Star Wars has always done a very poor job with its messages. To start with my reasoning, I'd like to point to the main problem with Star Wars, the cause of all of its problems. The Jedi, the Sith, and the Force.

To put things in perspective and keep things short. I want you to imagine yourself as a hard conservative, an alt-righter, or a dark enlightened individual. You have a series like Star Wars, a series about keeping true to your faith against a "Big Government", the importance of "Bloodlines", the fact that violence is the best way to solve issues, and that greatness comes from strength and power level, that humans lead the galaxy and the alien races know when to stand aside, that a once great civilization was ruined by an insidious minority religion that seeks to replace the current religion, and women don't wear pants, and whatever Shaddiversity is currently blabbering on about. Doesn't that sound appealing? And now you have these icky liberals coming in and saying it's "woke"? The audacity!

I hope you get where I'm coming from. And from my point of view, yes, the Jedi are indeed "Evil". But jokes aside, is there any wonder why the Star Wars fandom has an alt-right problem?

And saying that "Star Wars is woke because of the Vietnam War" is a very shallow reading of the inner politics and philosophy of the series. People will talk and talk about the inherent problems of the Harry Potter series, but nobody ever talks about Star Wars the same way. Of course, I'm not some diehard "SJW" seeking to ruin everyone's fun. I think that if fans want to get rid of the toxic parts of their fandom, they might want to start with the thing they're fans of and see why that toxicity is able to flourish like a fungus.

Be me, a DeviantArt User. Around 2007 to 2011.

Feel miserable. Nothing is right with the world.

War, death, hunger, depression, etc.

Look for a solution.

That solution is Soviet Style Socialism.

A strong, totalitarian system of government, I can relate to that.

I don't read much. Just YouTube. That works just fine. Sargon of Akkad will do nicely.

Not because I'm miserable and want others to feel the same pain I do.

But because I truly care for people. And as a DeviantArt User, I know how to make things better.

Grow up some more. Decide that Soviet Socialism can work with American paleoconservatism.

Call myself a Marxist-Leninist. I'm a big fan of the Galactic Empire. I favorite pictures

of Stormtroopers on DevientArt. Some really bad, weird ass inflation sonic soft porn is nice too.

Some more Sargon, with a dash of SJWs getting owned. Libtards, all of them.

My only contact with Marxist thought is Call of Duty.

Get over depression around the age of 17. Clear my mind a bit.

Get a bit more wise. Less emotional. Realize that my old beliefs were just a phase. A very stupid one. Because you got to be stupid before you learn. That's all part of growing up.

Learn that Sargon was a sham. The Soviet Union wasn't that great now that I read a history book. Become a Liberal Democrat.

I still like Star Wars.

All "Second American Civil War" scenarios suck, and if you made one yourself, there's a good chance that yours sucks too.

The main reason they suck is because of how incredibly biased they are based on the views of the writers. A lot of them boil down to, "Super Cool Liberals easily take down Inbred Rednecks" or "Super Based Conservatives Manly Men with big Horsecocks easily taking down Woke Soyboy SJWs" without any hint of irony. While many of these stories could be considered "So-Bad They're Good". A lot of people, mostly idiots, who agree with the views of the writer, eats this stuff up.

Many of these stories are also full of boring exposition, usually talking about how cool the "Good Guys" are with their super cool laser tanks and giant robots. I know the irony since I did the same thing with Star Wars, but still...

I know the authors of these stories do a lot of research, and I know the sources they use. Its starts with "Fox" and ends with "News". Or insert whatever other tabloid garbage.

And, lastly, all of them are written by dudes who always say, "I hope my predictions don't come true!". Even though they all secretly hope it does happen.

So, basically, these kind of scenarios are a reflection the misanthropy within politically minded people in the United States. Many of them are bland power fantasies of idiots. So, the only good "SACW" scenario I can think of is that both sides loose. As a reflection of the selfishness, greed and malice of both sides leading themselves into a war that gains them nothing and destroys the country they live in. Leaving the survivors to clean up after their mess. So, in the end, there's no "Socialist/Liberal Utopia" or "Great Patriotic Awakening", only ruin caused by their own mistakes.

Or even better and less pretentious. Portray both the Liberals and Conservatives with nothing but positive traits! Both of them are the good guys are both are them are giving the good fight! Try writing that you cowards!
